Subconscious inspiration

It was hard to get back to work today, but responsibility bested the snooze button. I had a good day of catching up and returning calls, then back home to my new painting projects. Since receiving my etsy shipment of wooden dolls over the weekend, I've been painting angels and superwomen.

Some of them look more "Mardi Gras."

Christmas coming up inspired the angels; not sure what prompted the heroines. With all the festivities coming up, I guess I need one and need to be the other.
